3. MEMBERSHIP TERM
• Membership term is twelve (12) consecutive months from the enrollment date.
• Coverage begins twenty-four (24) hours after payment is received.
• Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• No retroactive coverage applies.
4. INCLUDED SERVICES
Per household, per membership year, this Plan includes:
✔ Two (2) standard tows (5 miles PLUS the 5 free miles included with our Local Loyalty Rate- total of 10 free miles)
✔ One (1) jump start
✔ One (1) lockout service (vehicle access only)
✔ One (1) tire change (member must provide usable spare)
✔ Priority dispatch when operationally feasible
Mileage exceeding five (5) miles will be billed at the current regular rate.
Once included services are used, additional services will be billed at current regular rates.
5. SERVICE AREA
Coverage applies within Turpin’s primary service area, generally within a twenty (20) mile radius of Company service locations in North Georgia and Western North Carolina.
Service outside this area may be provided at Company discretion and billed accordingly.
6. AFTER-HOURS SERVICE POLICY
Services requested outside standard business hours, defined as 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM, may be subject to a reduced member after-hours dispatch fee.
Applicable after-hours fees are determined by the Company based on staffing, weather, safety conditions, and service demand.
After-hours fees apply even when the requested service is otherwise included under this Plan.
7. EXCLUSIONS
This membership does not include:
• Accident recovery or collision towing
• Law enforcement-initiated tows
• Off-road, embankment, mud, or water recovery
• Specialized winch-outs or heavy recovery
• Trailer towing
• Heavy-duty towing
• Storage or impound fees
• Mechanical repairs or diagnostics
• Repeated calls for unresolved mechanical issues
• Abandoned, unregistered, or illegally parked vehicles
Excluded services will be billed at current Company rates.
8. MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
Member agrees to:
• Maintain valid registration and insurance
• Provide accurate vehicle and household information
• Be present at time of service unless otherwise approved
• Pay for excluded services and applicable fees at time of service
Misuse, abuse, or fraudulent use of membership benefits may result in termination without refund.
9. PRIORITY DISPATCH
Members receive priority dispatch over non-members when operationally feasible.
Priority does not supersede emergency, law enforcement, hazardous recovery, or safety-critical operations.
Response times are not guaranteed and may vary based on conditions and demand.
10. PAYMENT & RENEWAL
• Full annual payment is due at enrollment.
• Membership expires automatically at the end of the twelve (12) month term unless renewed.
• Renewal notices may be provided as a courtesy but are not guaranteed.
11. TRANSFER, CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION
• Membership is non-transferable.
• One vehicle change per term is permitted with proof of ownership.
• Company reserves the right to cancel membership for misuse, fraud, or non-compliance.
• Terms may be modified upon renewal.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Turpin’s 24-Hour Towing & Recovery is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing vehicle damage
• Mechanical failures
• Delays caused by weather, traffic, or hazardous conditions
• Acts of God or circumstances beyond reasonable control
Services are provided as roadside assistance only and do not guarantee vehicle operability.
13. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Member and the Company regarding participation in the Mountain Roadside Protection Plan.
No verbal statements or prior representations shall modify these terms.
Rate Continuity:
The Member acknowledges that the promotional or founding membership rate is contingent upon continuous, uninterrupted annual renewal.
In the event of cancellation, non-renewal, or lapse in coverage, the Member forfeits the locked-in rate and any future enrollment shall be subject to the Company’s current pricing at the time of re-enrollment.
